Hutchinson’s Maltese subsidiary, Hutchinson Malta Ltd, is specialised in sealing solutions and specifically in the production of bonded seals for the automotive market. The product in question demands the highest possible production quality.
The Area of Focus
Cleaning molds that are used in conjunction with compression molding equipment is a
must. Forming rubber based products tends to be challenging for various reasons. Due to the forming temperatures and pressures involved, the end product tends to stick to the mold and leave a residue upon ejection. This is something that operators want to avoid as it also effects the end product quality if not taken care of properly.
